Using Lifecyclemanagement to map out your program/plan/policy requirements.

Did you know that mapping your requirements to a life cycle process, provides visibility, and an easy way for mapping out roles & responsibilities, assets, procedures, risk assessments, etc …
It’s also worth noting that every phase of the lifecycle management process is also an instance of the Risk Management Framework, which will drive your control selection. Each of these instances also has a certification & accreditation phase. This also implies that every step of the lifecycle management process has an impact on your people/processes/products, and controls must be selected to secure this triad as well.

The planning & organization, basically brings back everything from every phase, into a nicely structured requirements document.

If you don’t believe me, here’s an example. It is incomplete, but that does not matter. The main goal is to illustrate the workings.
