Hey folks! I passed my CCSP today, Oct 4, and wanted to share the resources and journey that led to my success. I passed the CISSP back in April 2021. I decided to start studying for the CCSP in late May/ early June. I learn best by watching folks talk on a particular subject. I started watching the Cybrary CCSP videos by Graham Wicas while doing practice questions from the Sybex Online platform via Wiley Efficient Learning. I then searched for other videos as the Cybrary videos did not contain the depth I was searching for. Someone in the CCSP channel had mentioned LinkedIn Learning by Mike Chapple, so I gave that a try and completed all videos over two weeks. I continued with practice questions and incorporated pocketprep CCSP questions. After completing those questions, I moved on to a co-worker’s recommendation of the CCSP ISC2 Official App on LearnZapp by Konnect. After doing a bunch of practice tests with decent scores. I scheduled my exam and talked to the man upstairs.

The exam has a high emphasis on software and supply chain security. Having working experience in the Cloud helps understand the topics covered in this exam. My advice is to have some practical experience, either volunteer or on-the-job experience, before taking the exam as it will help you understand the concepts better. Time management is crucial on many of the ISC2 exams.
